Please note that:

  • Rewards for Legendary League only go to players whose Heroes were in the top 10 when the Season ended. The rewards for all the other Leagues are calculated by maximum achievement throughout the entire Season.
  • Rewards were received only for those Heroes you played in the Winter Season in Borderlands mode.
  • At the same time, the leaderboard will be recalculated for all Heroes – regardless of whether they were in Borderlands or not.

Seasonal Leaderboard Reset

We continue to recalculate the leaderboard using a “soft” system, which will hold the interest of those at the top of the leaderboards without making the game too hard for those that are still on the path to conquering the heights of the top 10.

  • The ratings of Heroes in the Wooden or Stone leagues will not be reset.
  • If a Hero’s rating is at or above 2000, it will be reset to 1950.
  • In all other cases, Hero ratings will be reduced by precisely 50.

Talent rebalance

In update 11.9, we’re continuing to rebalance sets which have often not been seen on the battlefield – due to complex mechanics or the low stats they provide.

Cry of Doom set

This set designed to protect against caster heroes was too hard to use due to its complex mechanics. So in update 11.9, we’ve changed the property of the active talent: now it places a silence effect on the targeted enemy, preventing them from using abilities.

Cry of Doom

Changed the active property of the talent, and it now provides a boost to the greatest of Strength and Intellect

  • Required grade: III
  • Prime cost to learn: 675
  • Cooldown: 150 seconds
  • Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 2.6 (previously the talent did not add stats)
  • Prevents the target from using abilities for 2 seconds (previously dealt damage if the target used a talent)
  • Can be upgraded by the three talents from the Cry of Doom set.

Blinding Cry

A blinding effect is now applied along with the main effect of Cry of Doom

  • Required grade: IV
  • Prime cost to learn: 825
  • Increases Cunning by 12.5
  • Also blinds the target for 3 seconds.

Deafening Cry (previously Icy Cry)

Now increases the duration of the active talent

  • Required grade: IV
  • Prime cost to learn: 825
  • Increases Agility by 12.5
  • Increases the duration of the Cry of Doom talent by 1 sec.

Intolerable Cry

Now, instead of increasing the Cry of Doom duration, the talent deals magic damage to the victim

  • Required grade: V
  • Prime cost to learn: 1160
  • Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 9
  • Increases Agility by 10
  • The Cry of Doom talent deals 210 magic damage

Chilling Cry (previously Deafening Cry)

Now adds to Cunning and Agility. Also slows the target instead of extending the Cry of Doom duration

  • Required grade: IV
  • Prime cost to learn: 825
  • Increases Cunning by 6.25
  • Increases Agility by 6.25
  • The Cry of Doom talent also slows the target by 40%

Toxic Effect set

An excellent set for support heroes and static auto-attackers, it now gives control over its victim with the first talent learned.

Venomous Grasp (previously Toxic Effect)

The set’s active talent has been renamed, and in addition its property changed: now instead of dealing damage, it immobilizes the target. It also now boosts the highest of Strength and Intellect

  • Required grade: III
  • Prime cost to learn: 675
  • Cooldown: 150 seconds (Active)
  • Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 2.6 (previously the talent did not add stats)
  • Takes 0.4 sec to cast. Immobilizes the target for 2 seconds
  • Can be upgraded by the three talents from the Toxic Effect set.

Relentless Poison

This talent is now not tied to Native Terrain

  • Required grade: II
  • Prime cost to learn: 500
  • Increases Cunning by 7.2
  • Increases the duration of the Venomous Grasp talent by 1 sec.

Spider Venom

Instead of immobilizing the target, the talent now deals damage to it

  • Required grade: IV
  • Prime cost to learn: 825
  • Increases Cunning by 7
  • Increases the greatest of Stamina and Will by 6
  • The Venomous Grasp also deals 50 magic damage once every 0.5 seconds.

Destructive Poison

The damage dealt by this talent has been increased

  • Required grade: V
  • Prime cost to learn: 1160
  • Increases Health by 280
  • Increases Cunning by 8
  • The Venomous Grasp talent also deals 60 (instead of 40) magic damage once every 0.5 seconds.

Deadly Poison

  • Required grade: VI
  • Prime cost to learn: 1600
  • Increases Cunning by 14
  • Increases Agility by 9
  • The Toxic Effect talent cools down instantly if a target with its effect dies.

Rapid Toxin

The hero’s additional attack damage against a target with Venomous Grasp has been increased

  • Required grade: V
  • Prime cost to learn: 1160
  • Increases Health by 230
  • Increases Agility by 10
  • The attacks of the hero owning the set on a target of the Venomous Grasp talent deal an additional 76 (instead of 72) magic damage.

Touch of Death

This collectible talent gained significant popularity among players and became practically essential for all gankers.

However, the amount of Health the talent took from the first line was too high in many situations, often not leaving the enemy a chance. So in update 11.9, we’ve changed the talent. Now the amount of Health taken has been reduced to 180 (instead of 240).

Fortress Assault set

Having obtained recognition among supports, this set allows you to sometimes turn the tide of battle by ‘switching off’ an enemy tower or making your own invulnerable. However, support heroes are unable to learn all three talents from the set in many battles.

To make it easier to use, we’ve added a bonus for learning one talent from the set. Now learning any talent gives the hero an aura in which allied towers deal 10% more damage and enemy towers – 10% less.

Hero rebalance

Lightning Master / Storm Thrower

The hero’s alternative ultimate was often very difficult to use, since it didn’t always hit the target you want to hit with the lightning.

In update 11.9, we’ve added target selection to it.

Judgment of the Skies

  • By clicking on the enemy portrait, you can now select the target that will be hit by Storm Thrower’s lightning, even if it is hidden in the fog of war

Fire Fox / Flame Tail

The oldest heroine of Praia – the fiery and dangerous Fox – still remains one of the most popular mid heroes. However, sometimes it was very hard to use.

In update 11.9, we’ve increased the Health restoration from its passive ability.

Soul Harmony

  • Amount of Health restored increased from 5% to 6%

Bard / Muse

The Bard’s alternative ultimate has a hard time keeping up with its classic version.

In update 11.9, we’ve reduced the mana cost and the cooldown time

Soul Melody

  • The cost of casting this talent is now 300 mana (instead of 370), and the cooldown time has been reduced from 90 to 80 seconds

Desperado

The fastest gun in Praia – Desperado – was unable to escape enemy attacks in time in many situations, in spite of his excellent damage stats.

So in update 11.9, we’ve improved his natural escape ability

Survival Instinct

  • Bullet flight speed has been increased by 50%, and we’ve removed the talent cast time and sped up the hero’s flight by 50%

Artiste

Another representative of the ‘old guard’ of heroes, this hero was sometimes unable to fully show her might in the strength build

So in update 11.9, we’ve reduced the use cost and increased the talent damage.

Painted Beast

  • This talent’s casting cost has been reduced from 150 mana to 140

War Paint

  • Increased additional damage from the skill from 5-66 to 6-73

Katana

The swift and irrepressible Katana has confidently taken her place in the list of the most popular side heroes. However, her potential for a quick push gave her too great an advantage.

To make her more careful, we’ve reduced her ability damage

Splitting Strike

  • Ability damage reduced from 75-662 to 71-629

Tiger Jump

  • Ability damage reduced from 58-506 to 52-456

Champion’s Rune

The talents received by heroes with the help of this rune were sometimes not fully relevant: after the runes appeared, there were few new talents and also some heroes were more fun in other builds.

Update 11.9 has brought changes in the sets that give Champion’s Runes to heroes. They have been upgraded with talents from new sets, and the main stat that the rune provided has been changed for some heroes. We’ve also increased the number of legendary talents that it gives to heroes. All lane heroes get very popular axes from the runes along with their upgrades, and some of them have received entirely exclusive immortality sets, making builds even more fun to play.

As an example, we’ll show a build that the rune gives for Katana.

The Intellect version of the heroine is currently the most popular, and following that we’ve changed the build that the rune gives. Additionally, talents from previous sets have been added, making it even more relevant.

We are thankful to the players that took part in building the new runes!

Fixes

Assassin / Eraser

  • Fixed a bug in which the hero moved behind the enemy’s back when using Decisive Strike.

Fallen Lord

  • Fixed a bug in which the hero could obtain a stack of Arsenal for every kill – without a break for the ability to cool down.
  • Fixed a bug in which an artifact (graphical error) appeared where the Fallen Lord died, which could lead to a player’s session crashing.
  • Also fixed a bug with the hero’s auto-attack, which caused him not to attack the nearest enemy when using the attack key.

Inspiring Hymn

  • Fixed a bug in the description of allied soldiers under the effect of the talent. Now the description reflects the correct damage dealt by them.

Demonologist

  • Fixed a bug in the alternative ultimate description. It now reflects the correct damage type – Magic.
  • Also fixed a bug which caused the Forest Symbol set to not interact with the Strike of the Archons talent
