We continue to recalculate the leaderboard using a “soft” system, which will hold the interest of those at the top of the leaderboards without making the game too hard for those that are still on the path to conquering the heights of the top 10.
In update 11.9, we’re continuing to rebalance sets which have often not been seen on the battlefield – due to complex mechanics or the low stats they provide.
This set designed to protect against caster heroes was too hard to use due to its complex mechanics. So in update 11.9, we’ve changed the property of the active talent: now it places a silence effect on the targeted enemy, preventing them from using abilities.

An excellent set for support heroes and static auto-attackers, it now gives control over its victim with the first talent learned.

Venomous Grasp (previously Toxic Effect)The set’s active talent has been renamed, and in addition its property changed: now instead of dealing damage, it immobilizes the target. It also now boosts the highest of Strength and Intellect

This collectible talent gained significant popularity among players and became practically essential for all gankers.
However, the amount of Health the talent took from the first line was too high in many situations, often not leaving the enemy a chance. So in update 11.9, we’ve changed the talent. Now the amount of Health taken has been reduced to 180 (instead of 240).
Having obtained recognition among supports, this set allows you to sometimes turn the tide of battle by ‘switching off’ an enemy tower or making your own invulnerable. However, support heroes are unable to learn all three talents from the set in many battles.
To make it easier to use, we’ve added a bonus for learning one talent from the set. Now learning any talent gives the hero an aura in which allied towers deal 10% more damage and enemy towers – 10% less.
The hero’s alternative ultimate was often very difficult to use, since it didn’t always hit the target you want to hit with the lightning.
In update 11.9, we’ve added target selection to it.
Judgment of the Skies
The oldest heroine of Praia – the fiery and dangerous Fox – still remains one of the most popular mid heroes. However, sometimes it was very hard to use.
In update 11.9, we’ve increased the Health restoration from its passive ability.
Soul Harmony
The Bard’s alternative ultimate has a hard time keeping up with its classic version.
In update 11.9, we’ve reduced the mana cost and the cooldown time
Soul Melody
The fastest gun in Praia – Desperado – was unable to escape enemy attacks in time in many situations, in spite of his excellent damage stats.
So in update 11.9, we’ve improved his natural escape ability
Survival Instinct
Artiste
Another representative of the ‘old guard’ of heroes, this hero was sometimes unable to fully show her might in the strength build
So in update 11.9, we’ve reduced the use cost and increased the talent damage.
Painted Beast
War Paint
The swift and irrepressible Katana has confidently taken her place in the list of the most popular side heroes. However, her potential for a quick push gave her too great an advantage.
To make her more careful, we’ve reduced her ability damage
Splitting Strike
Tiger Jump
The talents received by heroes with the help of this rune were sometimes not fully relevant: after the runes appeared, there were few new talents and also some heroes were more fun in other builds.
Update 11.9 has brought changes in the sets that give Champion’s Runes to heroes. They have been upgraded with talents from new sets, and the main stat that the rune provided has been changed for some heroes. We’ve also increased the number of legendary talents that it gives to heroes. All lane heroes get very popular axes from the runes along with their upgrades, and some of them have received entirely exclusive immortality sets, making builds even more fun to play.
As an example, we’ll show a build that the rune gives for Katana.
The Intellect version of the heroine is currently the most popular, and following that we’ve changed the build that the rune gives. Additionally, talents from previous sets have been added, making it even more relevant.
We are thankful to the players that took part in building the new runes!
