Aviator is in Praia!

22 December 2017

Lords and Ladies!

Meet the maneuverable and elusive Aviator who is ready to glide the landing fields!

Aviator will appear in your Castles with two ultimates right from the start, each of which compliments fundamentally different builds and suits a specific style of play.

Like previous heroes, you can get Aviator in one of three ways:

  • By completing a seven-day quest chain, after which you’ll be able to recruit Aviator for 750,000 silver. The first quest in the chain is already available, and the last will be unlocked on January 3. Once you complete the last quest, a new quest will appear that will allow you to pay silver to recruit the hero.
  • The normal way to recruit Aviator (buying for silver without having to complete any quests) will be available for all players with a Сastle level of 25 and up from January 11 onward.
  • You can also recruit Aviator immediately for 299 gold.

With the release of this new hero, the price of Katana has been reduced to 500 000 silver and 199 gold.

Aviator's Talents

Despite the size of his machine and a handful of different weapons, Aviator is a true flying ace, constantly moving around the battlefield. His passive skill allows him to speed up every time when he uses class skills.

Rocket strike

The use of the first active skill releases an air-to-ground missile from under the wing of the aircraft. Having reached the point, of destination the rocket explodes, dealing damage to all targets nearby.

Improving the skill allows you to release two missiles in a short period of time.

Rain of Fire

Activation of the second active skill increases the damage from Aviator's main machine-gun attacks for a while.

Improving the skill also increases Hero's Agility - and, accordingly, the speed of his attacks.

Tactical maneuver

The third active skill makes Aviator even more mobile on the battlefields. After preparation, the Hero can fly to the specified place. The maximum radius of the flight is approximately half of the Borderlands' map.

At the same time, the shorter the flight distance, the less time is required to prepare the flight and the less time will the cooldown of the skill take.

Improving the skill also provides with Aviator a shield that lasts for 5 seconds after landing.

Same as Katana, the Hero appears in Praya with 2 ultimates already available, each of which corresponds to one of the possible tactics of Aviator's behavior on the battlefield.

The first ultimate ability emphasizes the unique destructive power of Aviator's combat shells.
After using the talent, the Hero becomes invulnerable, rises higher, takes aim ... and drops the Tsar-Bomb on the enemies' heads! The bomb explodes after reaching the ground, dealing damage to all enemies in a small radius.

Improving the ultimate increases the area of the explosion, but the damage in the enlarged area is slightly reduced compared to one done in the epicenter.

Aimed fire

The second ultimate ability makes machine-gun attacks of the Hero more powerful and replenishes a number of passive ultimates.

After studying it closely, Aviator increases his attack range by 20% and the speed of his bullets increases by 100%.

Improving the skill gives bullets the ability to penetrate through enemies. Take notice that all opponents between the Hero and the target receive only partial damage.

Attention! Pre-flight preparation is complete!
