Talent rebalance

Update 11.5.2 has brought a multitude of talent rebalances to Praia! First and foremost, this includes rebalancing of the first exclusive talent set’s subsets – partially left on the shelves of Libraries, they now return to the battlefield with updated stats and set bonuses!
Dark Message subset
This excellent exclusive subset for caster heroes hasn’t always been able to compete with the talents of the later exclusive subsets – the talents’ characteristics didn’t suit most users.
After the changes in update 11.5.2, the subset will give its owner a nice boost to base stats – Strength or Intellect, and will become more variable; now the subset’s second talent gives a bonus to the highest of Cunning and Agility instead of just Cunning.
 |
Regeneration of the Ancients
this talent now provides not only Health Regeneration, but also a base stat boost
-
Required grade: II
-
Prime cost to learn: 500
-
Increases Health regeneration by 2 (instead of 3.5)
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 3
|
 |
Lively Cunning
this talent now provides less Health, but more to one of the ‘offensive’ stats
-
Required grade: III
-
Prime cost to learn: 675
-
Increases Health by 44 (instead of 100)
-
Increases the highest of Agility and Cunning by 7 (instead of +5 Cunning)
|
 |
Dark Secret
this talent’s characteristics have been changed completely, and now learning this talent gives the hero a boost to Strength or Intellect
-
Required grade: IV
-
Prime cost to learn: 825
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 11
|
Secret of Immortality subset
This subset was and remains one of the most desirable among all talents of the first set. Who doesn’t like more life?
However, not all the talents were effective enough in their stats – even when taking into account the excellent bonus for fully learning the subset
 |
Resilient Agility
this talent is now more variable and provides a bonus to the greatest of the ‘offensive’ stats
-
Required grade: III
-
Prime cost to learn: 675
-
Increases Health by 66 (instead of 100)
-
Increases the highest of Agility and Cunning by 6 (instead of +5 Agility)
|
 |
Sense of Security
this talent’s stats have been fully redesigned and it now gives a bonus to a main stat, rather than to “defensive” stats and Cunning
-
Required grade: IV
-
Prime cost to learn: 825
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 11
|
 |
Blade's Edge
this talent provides slightly less health and slightly more ‘offensive power’
-
Required grade: VI
-
Prime cost to learn: 1600
-
Increases Health by 175 (instead of 290)
-
Increases the highest of Agility and Cunning by 16 (instead of +12 Agility)
|
Reflection of Essence subset
With its unique mechanic, this subset was somewhat complicated to complete – mostly because, in conditions of a significantly expanded assortment of talents, having four talents in a build often became an expensive luxury.
Now you have to get only three talents to activate the bonus effect: Energy of the Ancients, Cunning Aspiration and Sustained Regeneration. Learning the Natural Energy talent also increases stun duration by 0.5 seconds.
The subset’s bonus has also been altered:
-
The barrier can now stun the opponent for 1 second – after learning the upgrade in the Natural Energy talent
-
When the barrier is crossed, illusions appear in all cases, regardless of whether the Hero has the first group exclusive talent equipped
 |
Sustained Regeneration
now, aside from a small bonus to defensive stats, this talent increases a base stat of its owner Hero instead of adding Health Regeneration
-
Required grade: III
-
Prime cost to learn: 675
-
Increases the highest of Stamina and Will by 2
-
Increases the highest of Strength and Intellect by 7
|
Will of the Patriarch subset
An excellent subset for tactical relocations that can not only be used on yourself, but also on allies or on enemies. And it’s now far more fun, both in terms of stats and bonus effect improvement.
In addition, activating the subset now requires only four talents instead of five: Intellectual Aspiration, Cunning of the Living, Inner Core and Stamina Focus. Learning the Reserved Regeneration talent increases the subset’s effect: when used on an opponent, they will be stunned for 1 second. When used on an ally, their Speed will increase by 40% for 3 seconds
 |
Intellectual Aspiration
this talent now does not reduce talent cooldown time, but provides significantly more base characteristics
-
Required grade: IV
-
Prime cost to learn: 825
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 11
|
 |
Cunning of the Living
this talent now gives a boost to the highest of Agility and Cunning, instead of just to Cunning as before
-
Required grade: V
-
Prime cost to learn: 1160
-
Increases Health by 123
-
Increases the highest of Agility and Cunning by 10
|
 |
Inner Core
the Life Drain in this talent has been replaced with a small boost to offensive stats
-
Required grade: V
-
Prime cost to learn: 1160
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 12
-
Increases the highest of Agility and Cunning by 4
|
 |
Stamina Focus
instead of increasing the hero’s Stamina, this talent now increases the highest of the defensive stats
-
Required grade: VI
-
Prime cost to learn: 1600
-
Increases Stamina or Will (whichever is greater) by 11
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 12
|
 |
Reserved Regeneration
this talent now increases defensive and base stats
-
Required grade: III
-
Prime cost to learn: 675
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 2
-
Increases Stamina or Will (whichever is greater) by 4
-
Increases subset effect: when used on the enemy, it stuns them for 1 second, and when used on an ally, their Speed increases by 40% for 3 seconds
|
Experienced Warrior subset
A good starter subset both for its effects and its stats. Nonetheless, it caused issues – the second effect (dealing damage to an enemy attacking allied soldiers) wasn’t noticeable enough and wasn’t always effective in the lane.
So in update 11.5.2, the subset’s second effect was changed. Learning two talents now gives the owner the following bonus: Once every 15 seconds, the hero’s attack deals 90 magic damage to the enemy or tower
Fiery Guard subset
In update 11.5.2, this subset has come to resemble a ‘traditional ward’ – it is no longer destroyed after being used on an enemy hero, and it is invisible, which allows it to be far more useful against support heroes or junglers without spending precious prime on buying ‘lanterns’.
We’ve also slightly changed the stats that the talents of this subset provide – the hero will now get more base stats when learning talents
 |
Fiery Guard
The subset’s main talent now creates invisible fireflies and supplements the highest of the hero’s Strength and Intellect. Firefly damage is now unlocked after learning the corresponding upgrade
-
Required grade: II
-
Prime cost to learn: 500
-
Cooldown: 120 seconds
-
+3.6 Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater)
-
A firefly flies to the indicated point on the map and reveals the area around itself. The firefly disappears after 120 seconds
|
 |
Bright Flame
now increases firefly duration to 180 seconds. Also, learning this talent gives the ‘ward’ new properties – the ability blind and damage an enemy hero when they appear in the area of effect. In addition, the firefly no longer disappears after dealing damage and blinding the opponent – instead it temporarily gives away its position.
-
Required grade: I
-
Prime cost to learn: 350
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 4.8
-
The firefly summoned by the Fiery Guard talent now deals 140 magic damage to the enemy hero and blinds them for 2.5 seconds. The effect is applied every time the enemy hero appears in the area, but no more than once every 15 sec.
|
 |
Zealous Flame
this talent now not only gives Health, but also a base stat boost
-
Required grade: III
-
Prime cost to learn: 675
-
Increases Health by 130 (instead of 230)
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by 5
-
Also removes distance limitations on the Fiery Guard talent
-
Reduces the cooldown time of the Fiery Guard talent by 60 seconds.
|
 |
Smouldering Flame
the amount of Health received after learning the talent has been reduced slightly, while the base stat amount has been increased and made variable. Also, the enemy hero now remains visible for 4 seconds after detection by the firefly (instead of 10 seconds)
-
Required grade: IV
-
Prime cost to learn: 825
-
Increases Health by 115 (instead of 155)
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by +9 (instead of +7 Strength)
-
The target of the firefly summoned by the Fiery Guard talent cannot hide for 4 seconds
|
 |
Prophetic Flame
the amount of Health received after learning the talent has been reduced slightly, while the base stat amount has been increased and made variable.
-
Required grade: IV
-
Prime cost to learn: 825
-
Increases Health by 115 (instead of 155)
-
Increases Strength or Intellect (whichever is greater) by +9 (instead of +7 Intellect)
