Lords and Ladies!
Even Praia is touched by the approaching New Year! Snowmen have appeared in the Borderlands, and Kitton's hole is covered in snow and gifts! It's beginning to look a lot like the winter holidays are coming to Praia!
The changes aren't just cosmetic, either: everyone's favorite snowballs are back in stores! By popular demand, snowballs are weaker this time around, to keep them from seriously impacting gameplay.

The holidays have left their mark on castles, too. All of the castles' lords and ladies now have their own Christmas trees! And these are no ordinary trees – they produce gifts! Every 8 hours, 4 Prime Crystals (or 8 Crystals with the Golden Age) will appear under the Christmas tree! Don't forget to collect your gifts in time, since more crystals will only be added if the space under the tree is empty. Also, snow has been added to the clan wars map.
Raven has denied her ancestors and expunged all of the happiness, compassion, and love from her heart. Now she has arrived in Praia! Soon she will be ready to enter the service of the lord that promises her a reasonable price. She will offer her strength in exchange – and believe me, there will be no trace of the angelic being of the past! Raven is so cruel to those nearby that one enemy isn’t enough for her. To really unlock her potential, dance around the battlefield, moving through enemies and always attacking different targets. You can read more about this new hero here.

As we mentioned in the update announcement, 10.12.1 brings new legendary talents to the game. The Absolute Ax, “touch” for mage heroes, and more.
The name of this one speaks for itself. This set creates an exact copy of the hero using it. The copy pursues the nearest enemy and explodes on contact. But we already saw this three years back, in the Halloween talent Deathly Phantom. But unlike the scarlet phantom, this illusion can only be distinguished from the hero by its health bar, making it usable as a diversion. Also, the upgraded version of this illusion consumes the victims' available Prime at the moment of contact.

This cousin of Battle Ecstasy also deals damage over time – dealt not by the hero with the talent but by the targeted enemy. Perfect for sowing trouble in the enemy ranks and separating them from each other. Upgrading this talent only increases how dangerous it is for enemies. They'll do everything they can to get away from the source of the conflagration!

The height of advancement in axes, Absolute Dominance increases the dynamics of Prime collection – as long as certain conditions are met. The base talent is not much different from its younger cousins and has the same cap of 800 Prime. The talent's upgrades raise this ceiling – but not without fulfilling certain conditions. Note that Prime provided by meeting these conditions affects the talent's main Prime “counter.” A fully completed set will have a max cap of 1800 Prime.

In simple terms, this is the analogue of Deathtouch for mage heroes. Each time this ability hits an enemy, it gives him an effect that over 3 seconds deals as much damage as 2.5 “touch” attacks. Upgrades keep the original effect in the forefront, providing a percentage damage bonus for abilities. Very useful for mages!

A defensive set meant to keep an opponent from using abilities. And if they manage to use them, they will deal minimal damage. At its highest end, this set can blind and “silence” the opponent. This silencing will be very useful for opponents designed to combo skills: Faceless, Assassin, Meijin, Sorcerer, Artiste, Vampire, Tu’Rehu. Also, each upgrade increases the base talent’s duration, so the longer the game goes, the more limited the target’s actions will be – after all, the game’s pace is speeding up at the same time.

The Prince is currently at the top of the metagame: good in the early game thanks to his base abilities being decently strong, and prospering in the late game thanks to his high damage and above-average protection. We should note that Highlander and Combat have this great late-game effectiveness too – but not such a good start. The Prince can also maintain good momentum both in a lane and in the forest.
This is overpowered, so we’re weakening the Prince’s stun in the early game and blinding in the late game.
Unfair Fight
The boost we gave to trees’ defense was in practice shown to be a bit too much. We’ve now reduced their defense by about 10%. This reduces the last update’s boost to about 35%.
Wicked Tree
As you know, attack targets are selected automatically – but there is one hero whose class abilities are severely hindered by this: the tiny Whisp. The mechanic interferes with this heroine’s class passive.
So we’ve disabled automatic target selection for Whisp. The player now must click on a target to attack.
Shadow Cover
A complex mechanic has this girl weeping sadly at the very edge of the metagame. We’re going to implement some mild power-ups and keep an active eye on Tearaway as the game goes on.
Milkshake
In true communist fashion, the faithful S.Putnik’s Bear Comrade has whacked each and every comer. Many of you need to have better control over your pet! (If you can call a two-ton bear a pet, that is.) We’re updating our comrade so he has a more... modern relationship with opponents.
Also, we’ve fixed an issue where S.Putnik would not attack a marked target if the command to attack was given before the enemy was marked.
Frontline Comrade
Border Guard
Demolition Mania never became popular, even though it was very, very strong when wielded by certain heroes. With this rebalancing, we’ve tried to make this set useful for a larger number of heroes – and simultaneously reduce its strength for others (for example, Wanderer). But we’ve preserved the essence of the set – use not on a single target, but on a crowd.

In and of itself, this talisman was quite good. It and the Talisman of Stealth can often be seen on delicate characters without their own escape abilities. It’s a shame the rest of the upgrades here have been ignored! Now, with the Talisman of Health upgrade, repeated use of a shield (or even invisibility) is easier.
