  • The Agility indicator for the Insatiable talent from the Earth Hallows exclusive set no longer rounds up; the actual values of the buff are now displayed accurately up to ten.

A bug that caused the castle client to crash after the character «;» appeared in the clan message window has been fixed.

New Hero: Defender/Guardian

The latest update introduces a new hero who can be hired for 999,000 silver starting at castle level 38.

Archer/Amazon

Thanks to her Redeploy ability, this hero was easily able to leave the battle and stay safely in a lane, which made the Archer/Amazon too easy to master given the character’s effectiveness in battle.

Redeploy:

  • The distance the hero moves after using the talent has been reduced by 18%.
  • The amount of Energy required to use the talent has been increased from 120 to 150.
  • The amount of Strength and Intellect received by the hero per Prime level has been reduced by 17%.

Highlander/Immortal

The Highlander/Immortal has been retooled in order to make him somewhat easier to develop and to increase his effectiveness at the early stages of the game. For a long time this hero's main problem was his weakness early in the game — the fact that he had no stun or melee combat abilities made him less than ideal for surprise attacks. It was thus rather difficult to turn him into a serious fighter later in the game, which was what he was designed to be. The changes listed below are intended to resolve these issues and return the hero's former glory.

Hero Strike:

  • The talent's cooldown has been reduced from 14 to 12 seconds.
  • The ability can no longer deal critical damage.
  • The talents that upgrade Hero Strike have switched places: the Worthy Opponent upgrade is now on the second line in the hero's talent screen, while Whirl of Steel is on the third.

Battle Hunger:

  • The effect from the talent now stacks 5 times rather than 7 as before. Total value of Life Drain from talent remained the same;
  • The Agility received by the hero for being on Native Terrain is now increased based on Strength.
  • The effect from the Concentrated Fury upgrade is now activated after the hero's fifth strike.

Bloody Massacre:

  • The amount of Health regained by the hero when using this talent has been increased by 50%.
  • The ability's range has been increased.
  • The talent/upgrade Blood Rage is now based only on Stamina. However, the stat buff has been significantly increased.
  • The current amount of Stamina from Blood Rage is now displayed in the status description.

Immortal Spirit:

  • The hero now stuns enemies for 1 sec. when he respawns.
  • The damage dealt by the ability has been reduced by 20%.
  • Basic Health Regeneration of the hero is increased from 1.65 to 3.3 per second.

Woodsman/Witch Doctor

  • A bug that caused the hero's Wicked Tree to fail to seize a hero standing next to it under certain circumstances has been fixed. This would happen if an enemy hero had first been knocked back by Shadow/Whisp's Magic Fan talent or the Invisible Core talent from the Will of the Patriarch set.

Jaeger/Wolf Dancer

  • A bug that caused the sound effect signifying that wolves have been summoned to play when the talent was interrupted has been fixed. This doesn't happen anymore.

Witch/Moira

  • A bug that caused the Energy Discharge talent to cost too much Energy after the hero had ceased to be affected by Fang/Claw's Curse of the Beast ability has been fixed.

Ha-ka/Da-ka

  • A number of bugs that caused the hero to be displayed incorrectly when three charges of the Symbol of Faith talent had been accumulated has been fixed. This would happen when the hero was simultaneously illuminated and under the influence of another effect such as invisibility.

Vryl/Nox

  • The hero can now have Defensive Plating activated and still be affected by the Faceless/Phantom's Deathblow talent. This means that a Vryl/Nox who has less Health remaining than is required to activate Deathblow, but still has an active shield, will be killed by Faceless/Phantom's attack.

New Title: Common soldier

  • In order to improve the system for assembling teams and selecting opponents we decided to split the Corporal title in half. Heroes with a rating of 1300-1399 will now have the title of Common soldier, while heroes with a rating of 1400-1499 will now have the title of Corporal. The number of talents awarded to Privates and Corporals after a battle is the same.

Flags

  • 20 new unique flags have been added to the game. You can find them under «Account» as before.

Challenges

  • A bug that caused the Vryl/Nox to be counted as having been killed by enemy Touched when returning to his cocoon has been fixed.

Misc.

  • A bug that caused heroes to fall into the Rat's lair on the Dragonwald map has been fixed.
  • The visibility range provided by Lanterns and Magic Lanterns is now displayed when they are selected.
