RaidCall is a fast, convenient, and free voice chat application. Using RaidCall, you can coordinate your actions with your party members in battle or just chat about random topics with other players in the common rooms.
RaidCall is easy to install. Start by going to the application's official site and downloading the installer by clicking this button: Download
Once the installer has finished downloading, launch the executable file and install it in any folder (the path may only contain Roman letters); for example: С:\Program Files (x86)\RaidCall
It is currently necessary to register. To do this, just launch RaidCall and click the button that says, "I'm a new user, create one now."
Then fill in all the required fields with your information and click the "Register" button.
You can now log into RaidCall using your login and password.
After logging into RaidCall with your login and password, the following window will open:
Prime World has its own official group. To find it, just search by number. To get there, find the search field located in the upper left-hand corner of the program's main window, enter our group number 9876 or the name Prime World EN, and click the search button or hit enter.
So, you've joined our group. You are currently located in the guest room. Guests can use text chat, but they do not have access to voice chat.
To become a full member of the group, you will have to submit an application. You can do this by clicking once on the "Apply" button in the upper right-hand corner of the interface.:
The system has been set up in such a way that every application must be confirmed by the group administrator. This happens rather frequently, and there are no application requirements, so don't worry—you'll definitely get full member status. As soon as this happens, you will receive a notification if you are online at the moment.
The group is divided into rooms, which is where the chatting actually takes place. There are two kinds of rooms: open and closed. To gain access to open rooms, you just have to be a member of the group. To enter a room, double-click its name in the room list. All rooms have both text and voice chat interface.
If a room is open, you only have to be a member of the group to enter it. Open rooms are generally used for ordinary conversations on various topics..
If a room is closed, you need a password to enter it. Closed rooms are intended for groups who are using RaidCall to coordinate their actions during battle.
Using RaidCall, you can communicate with other group participants via text or with a microphone.
To begin voice chat, all you have to do is hold F2 and start talking. Once you're finished speaking, release the key and the microphone will automatically shut off. This way you don't have to worry about the people you are chatting with overhearing anything you don't want them to. The key works everywhere, so you can play Prime World and talk in RC without having to pause the game.
If it is inconvenient for you to use the F2 key, you can re-map the push-to-talk key to any other key. To do this, click the area next to the volume icon in the lower right-hand corner of the interface, and this window will open:
Left-click right underneath the word "Keyboard" and press the key on your keyboard you would like to use for push-to-talk.
You can also set the microphone to activate whenever you say something, but we recommend not using this function to avoid activating the microphone accidentally when you have no such intention.
RaidCall features flexible settings that make using the program as convenient as possible. The "Settings" button is located in the upper right-hand corner of the interface. We do not recommend changing any settings if you do not understand what they mean.
To get advice about uses of RaidCall other than those described above, consult other participants of the official group or the administration. Just ask about it right in the group.
